The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa, invites applications for its MSc in Computer Science postgraduate degree programme.

This programme is designed for practising professionals who wish to develop greater depth of technical knowledge and gain exposure to emerging and specialised areas of Computer Science.

✅ Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

• An Honours Degree of Bachelor of the Science of Engineering from the University of Moratuwa; or
• Any other four-year bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Technology from a recognized university, in a field relevant to Computer Science, as judged by the Faculty of Engineering and approved by the Senate; or
• Any other three-year bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Technology from a recognized university, in a field relevant to Computer Science, together with a minimum of one year of appropriate post-qualifying experience, subject to approval; or
• A recognized category of membership of a recognized professional institute obtained through an academic route, with a minimum of one year of appropriate post-qualifying experience, subject to approval.
