National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka
Closing Date: 10 August 2026Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for five posts at the National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka (NAQDA). Check the relevant qualifications, experience, age limit and application instructions before applying.
01. Director (Extension)
External applicants: Relevant BSc degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification, with at least 15 years' managerial-level experience.
Internal applicants: Manager Category (MM), Grade I, with at least five years' relevant service.
Age: 35–55 years
02. Director (Coastal)
External applicants: Relevant BSc degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification, with at least 15 years' managerial-level experience.
Internal applicants: Manager Category (MM), Grade I, with at least five years' relevant service.
Age: 35–55 years
03. Director (Freshwater)
External applicants: Relevant BSc degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification, with at least 15 years' managerial-level experience.
Internal applicants: Manager Category (MM), Grade I, with at least five years' relevant service.
Age: 35–55 years
04. Assistant Director (Human Resource Development)
External applicants: Recognized degree in Management/Human Resources plus one year of relevant managerial administrative experience.
Internal applicants: At least five years' experience in the Junior Manager Category at the Authority.
Age: 22–45 years
05. Translator
- Distinction passes in Tamil and English at G.C.E. O/L;
- A UGC-recognized degree; and
- One year of English–Tamil translation experience.
Applicants must have strong spoken and written English, Sinhala and Tamil proficiency.
Age: 22–45 years
General Requirements
- Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens, physically and mentally fit, and of excellent moral character.
- Government and statutory-sector employees must apply through their respective heads of institutions.
- The upper age limit does not apply to internal applicants and specified public-sector applicants.
- The stated salary will be adjusted and paid according to the 2026 salary scale under Circular 1/2025.
