Students and parents who have received the Shishyadhara 2026 Stationery Allowance QR Code can now easily locate the nearest approved shops through the official online portal.

🔍 How to Find Your Shop

✅ Click the link below.
✅ Enter your registered mobile number.
✅ Verify using the OTP received to your phone.
✅ Select your Province and District.
✅ View the approved shop list with contact numbers.

Note: If the shop list is not showing, click the same link again or click the three-line menu button on the top left side and select Merchants.

📅 Important Notice

QR Code scanning period:

🗓️ Start Date : 29.04.2026
🗓️ End Date : 30.06.2026

⚠️ QR Codes or QR Numbers that are not used within the validity period will automatically expire.

🛒 Before Purchasing

✔️ Please bring your registered mobile phone to the shop.

✔️ OTP verification is required during the purchase process.

✔️ Each beneficiary student's QR Code can be used for a maximum of 03 transactions only.

The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has introduced the Shishyadhara 2026 School Stationery Allowance Programme to support school-age children across Sri Lanka. Under this programme, registered dealers can provide stationery items through a QR code and OTP verification system using the official “Shishyadhara” Android Application. Dealers are required to complete registration through the mobile app and follow the official instructions issued by the Ministry. Programme Overview

The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has introduced the Shishyadhara 2026 School Stationery Allowance Programme to support school-age children in purchasing stationery items through registered dealers using QR codes and OTP verification.

QR Code Usage Period: 29.04.2026 – 30.06.2026

Important Instructions for Dealers

  • Dealers must register only through the “Shishyadhara” Android App.
  • During registration, dealers must upload:
    • Business Registration Certificate OR Grama Niladhari Certificate
    • Bank Account Details
  • Dealers should correctly enter: Bank Name, Branch, Branch Code, Account Number, Account Holder Name.
  • Registration confirmation will be completed within 02 days.
  • School stationery can be sold only through:
    • QR Code Scanning
    • Entering QR Number
  • Transaction confirmation will be done using an OTP sent to the parent/guardian mobile phone.
  • Dealers must issue stationery only after OTP confirmation.
  • Each QR code can be used a maximum of 03 times.
  • Dealers must check the remaining balance before issuing stationery.
  • Payments will be credited to the dealer’s bank account once every 02 weeks.
  • Bills related to stationery sales should be uploaded to the app.
  • No payment will be made for transactions completed outside the app.
  • Registered dealers should display a notice showing they are part of the Shishyadhara 2026 Programme.

The Shishyadhara 2026 Programme is a government initiative launched by the Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the Ministry of Education to provide financial support for school stationery. Eligible students will receive a Rs. 6000 allowance, which can be redeemed through a QR-based system at approved merchants.


📌 Shishyadhara 2026 Programme

Shishyadhara is a government-led system implemented under the Ministry of Finance with the support of the Ministry of Education to provide subsidies for school stationery.

Allowance: Rs. 6000 per student for 2026 academic year

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

  • Students in government schools with ≤ 300 students (based on 2025 Census)
  • Pirivena students (Monk & Non-Monk)
  • Birth between 01.02.2007 – 31.01.2021

Exclusions: Aswesuma beneficiaries & Child Development Centre students

🏫 School Selection

Selected based on 2025 Census Report

Schools with total student population of 300 or fewer (as at 01 June 2025)

  • Admin Panel – Zonal Office

📲 QR Based Payment System

Approved students will receive a QR Code to redeem Rs.6000 allowance at approved merchants.
