Closing Date 27 January 2025

Efforts are underway to resolve the issues that arose during data entry.

Today's Dinamina Paper (21.01.2025)  has reported that a commitee has been appointed to investigate Southern Province Teacher Appointments given by Southern Provincial Council.

Southern Province Governor Bandula Harischandra said that a three-member committee has been appointed to examine the teacher appointments made by the Southern Provincial Council's Education Department in the past.

Education Ministry has released some Instructions to officers of Sri Lanka Principal's Service.

  • Non-compliance with placements/transfers in the Sri Lanka Principals' Service and granting temporary attachments to national schools
  • Reversion of officers recruited to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Principals' Service in the year 2023 to the post of the teaching service previously held.
  • Checklist of attachments to be submitted with requests for reversion to the teaching service previously held as per Public Administration Circular No. 02/2018
  • Action taken against officers who did not assume duties as per placement.
