Requirements
Applicants who already completed any Diploma (Levels 3 & 4) from the Open University of Sri Lanka, or

A candidate who has obtained a National Diploma in Teaching (Special Education) from a National College of Education may seek admission to Level 5 and subsequently Level 6 of the Bachelor of Education Honours in Special Needs Education Degree Programme, with exemptions for Levels 3 & 4 of the Bachelor of Education Honours in Special Needs Education Degree programme.

Confirmation Letter of NIC Details - GCE O/L 2024 Students



Special Public Announcement has been released by Department of Registration of Persons on Confirmation Letter of NIC Details.

Individuals who have not yet received their confirmation letters regarding their National Identity Card details for participation in the General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Examination, which will commence on March 17, 2025, (and have access to download the relevant letter online), will have an opportunity to obtain their confirmation letters.

For this purpose, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, the main office of the Department of Registration of Persons and its provincial offices located in Galle, Kurunegala, Vavuniya, Batticaloa, and Nuwara Eliya will be open from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

School applicants who intend to sit for this year’s Ordinary Level Examination but have not yet submitted their applications must bring properly completed application forms, certified by the school principal or Grama Niladhari .

Increased salaries of government employees to be paid on April 10.

- Dinamina - 14 March 2025-

The Dinamina Newspaper Article Says,

The government is preparing to pay the increased salaries and allowances for public servants in this year’s budget from April. Arrangements are being made to pay the increased salaries when the April salary is paid on April 10 in observance of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

Accordingly, the government has arranged to issue a circular regarding the payment of increased salaries and allowances, a week after the adoption of the 2025 budget on March 21.

With the budget set to be passed on the 21st of this month, the Ministry of Public Administration will issue a circular containing the details of the increased salaries before March 28.

Accordingly, a circular has been issued and arrangements are being made to pay the increased salaries and allowances to government employees on the 10th of April, a senior official of the Ministry of Finance said.
