Point Scale for the Observation of Eight Groups in Schools

In order to achieve the goal of creating a school system with high productivity and efficiency by properly managing the amount of physical and human resources invested in education, it is essential to implement a strong continuous evaluation system aimed at ensuring the quality of education. For this, external and internal evaluations have been implemented in the school system since 2015 under the theme of 'How quality is our school' as a criterion-based evaluation system to ensure the quality of schools through the concept of quality assurance.

The standards, evaluation criteria and indicators introduced for this purpose are expected to implement a strong self-evaluation system in schools and provide the necessary guidance to enable schools to move towards excellence by having external parties evaluate them.

Ten standards have been introduced under 08 assessment areas, and 30 requirements have been introduced to achieve each standard. Through this, 60 criteria and 210 indicators have been introduced.

Each of these indicators is scored and evaluated on a scale of 06 from 01 to 06. Since the conditions required for each of the six scales for each indicator have not been clearly identified, it has been revealed that there are inconsistencies in the awarding of these scores. This has led to problems with the effectiveness of this evaluation process. As a solution to this, the requirements for each of the score scales for each indicator have been identified and presented to you by development division of North Provincial Education Department. . Also, the necessary forms to collect the necessary information to improve the quality of the school have been presented.
