Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for Assistant Director, Scientific/Research Officer, Management Assistant and Driver positions.
Vacancy Announcement
The National Research Council of Sri Lanka is a statutory government funding agency established to promote and support research conducted by public-sector scientists. Applications are invited for ten vacancies under four different job categories.
Available Posts and Qualifications
(Scientific Affairs Coordinator)
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in a field of Science recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
Applicants must also have at least three years of post-qualifying experience in the relevant field after obtaining the first degree.
Main Responsibilities
Scientific and strategic management, grants and research programme supervision, governance, reporting, stakeholder coordination, policy implementation, monitoring and institutional development.
Required Qualifications
A recognized Special Degree in a relevant field such as Science, Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture, Economics, Statistics, ICT, Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering.
A recognized General Degree in a relevant field together with a postgraduate diploma in the relevant field may also be accepted.
Main Responsibilities
Grant management, publishing grant information, database maintenance, statistical analysis, report preparation and coordination of seminars and workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Six subjects passed at the G.C.E. O/L examination in one sitting.
- Credit passes in four subjects, including Sinhala or Tamil, Mathematics and English where required for the post.
- Three subjects passed at the G.C.E. A/L examination, excluding the General Paper.
Competency in computer applications and Sinhala, Tamil or English typing will be an added advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Six subjects passed at the G.C.E. O/L examination within a maximum of two sittings.
- At least two credit passes at the G.C.E. O/L examination.
- A valid licence issued for driving heavy vehicles.
- At least three years of driving experience after obtaining the driving licence.
Main Responsibilities
Safe operation and maintenance of institutional vehicles, transportation of passengers and documents, and maintenance of vehicle records, licences, insurance and roadworthiness.

Important Conditions
- Applicants must be citizens of Sri Lanka.
- Applicants must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties and serve in any part of the island.
- Applicants must possess excellent moral character.
- Recruitment may be conducted through a written competitive examination, a structured interview or both.
- Appointments will be made on a contract basis for one year or until the completion of the restructuring process, whichever occurs first.
- Selected employees will be entitled to EPF and ETF benefits.
- Incomplete, late or non-compliant applications will be rejected.

ශ්රී ලංකා ජාතික පර්යේෂණ සභාවේ පුරප්පාඩු 10ක් සඳහා සුදුසුකම්ලත් ශ්රී ලාංකික පුරවැසියන්ගෙන් අයදුම්පත් කැඳවා ඇත.
සහකාර අධ්යක්ෂ තනතුර 01ක්, විද්යාත්මක/පර්යේෂණ නිලධාරී තනතුරු 03ක්, කළමනාකරණ සහකාර තනතුරු 04ක් සහ රියදුරු තනතුරු 02ක් පවතී.
අදාළ සහතික පිටපත් සහ ඥාතීන් නොවන නිර්දේශකයන් දෙදෙනෙකුගේ තොරතුරු සමඟ අත්සන් කළ අයදුම්පත 2026 ජූලි 13 දිනට පෙර ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑලෙන් යොමු කළ යුතුය.

உதவிப் பணிப்பாளர் பதவி 01, விஞ்ஞான/ஆராய்ச்சி உத்தியோகத்தர் பதவிகள் 03, முகாமைத்துவ உதவியாளர் பதவிகள் 04 மற்றும் சாரதி பதவிகள் 02 அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
கையொப்பமிடப்பட்ட விண்ணப்பத்துடன் பிறப்புச் சான்றிதழ் மற்றும் ஏனைய தகைமைச் சான்றிதழ்களின் பிரதிகளையும் உறவினர்கள் அல்லாத இரண்டு பரிந்துரையாளர்களின் விவரங்களையும் இணைத்து, 13 ஜூலை 2026 அன்று அல்லது அதற்கு முன்னர் பதிவுத் தபாலில் அனுப்ப வேண்டும்.
