Basic Qualification Summary
Lecturer (Probationary)
Applicants should possess a degree with specialization in the relevant subject with First Class or Second Class Honours. Certain applicants possessing other recognized degrees and relevant postgraduate qualifications with a research component may also be considered in accordance with the applicable UGC circulars.
Lecturer (Unconfirmed)
Applicants should possess the required academic qualifications for Lecturer (Probationary), together with a relevant Master's or Doctoral degree, subject to the requirements stated in the official notice and applicable UGC circulars.
Senior Lecturer Grade II
Applicants should possess the relevant academic and postgraduate qualifications, together with at least six years of eligible teaching, professional, research or postgraduate study experience.
Senior Lecturer Grade I
Applicants should possess the relevant academic and postgraduate qualifications, together with at least twelve years of eligible experience. At least six years should have been completed after obtaining the specified postgraduate qualification.
Salary Scales

The salary and academic allowance will be paid according to UGC Commission Circular No. 02/2025 dated 01.04.2025. Cost of living allowance and other approved allowances will also be paid.
Important Conditions
- The advertised posts are permanent.
- The initial appointment will be subject to a three-year probationary period.
- Applicable employees will contribute 10% of earnings to the Universities Provident Fund.
- The University will contribute 7% to the Universities Provident Fund and 8% to the Pension Fund.
- The University will contribute 3% of earnings to the Employees’ Trust Fund.
- Applicants employed in higher educational institutions, government departments or corporations must apply through the relevant institutional head.
- The University reserves the right to shortlist applicants and call only shortlisted candidates for interviews.
