Translation Diploma Course – Sinhala and Tamil

Applications are invited for the Translation Diploma Course (Sinhala–Tamil) 2026/2027 conducted by the National Institute of Language Education and Training under the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government.

This course is designed to provide the language knowledge and practical training required for translation-related work. It also supports the implementation of the Government’s Official Languages Policy and helps participants communicate effectively with Sinhala- and Tamil-speaking communities.

Applicant Qualifications

Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens.
Applicants must be over 18 years and under 60 years of age.
Applicants must have passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination.
Applicants must have obtained a credit pass in Sinhala or Tamil at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination.

Selection examination fee Rs. 2,500.00

Selection Examination

The course is expected to commence in October 2026. Applicants will be selected through a written examination conducted by the National Institute of Language Education and Training.

Applications will be considered only for the language stream selected by the applicant. Incomplete applications and applications received after the closing date may be rejected.

පරිවර්තන ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාව
(සිංහල – දෙමළ) 2026/2027

ජාතික භාෂා අධ්‍යාපන සහ පුහුණු ආයතනය විසින් පවත්වනු ලබන පරිවර්තන ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාව (සිංහල–දෙමළ) 2026/2027 සඳහා අයදුම්පත් කැඳවනු ලැබේ.

පාඨමාලා කාලය: වසර 1කි.
පැවැත්වෙන ආකාරය: 50% ආයතනික හා 50% මාර්ගගත.
පාඨමාලා වේලාව: සතියේ වැඩ කරන දිනවල පෙ.ව. 9.00 සිට ප.ව. 4.00 දක්වා.
පාඨමාලාව ආරම්භය: 2026 ඔක්තෝබර් මාසයේදී.
වයස් සීමාව: අවුරුදු 18ට වැඩි සහ අවුරුදු 60ට අඩු ශ්‍රී ලාංකික පුරවැසියන්.
අධ්‍යාපන සුදුසුකම්: අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ විභාගය සමත්ව තිබීම.
අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ විභාගයේදී සිංහල හෝ දෙමළ භාෂාව සඳහා සම්මාන සාමාර්ථයක් ලබා තිබිය යුතුය.
පාඨමාලා ගාස්තුව: රු. 45,000.00.
ලියාපදිංචි ගාස්තුව: රු. 1,000.00.
තේරීම් පරීක්ෂණ ගාස්තුව: රු. 2,500.00.
අයදුම්පත් අවසන් දිනය: 2026.09.07.

අයදුම්පත සහ ජීවදත්ත පත්‍රිකාව විද්‍යුත් තැපෑල මගින් යොමු කළ යුතුය. විද්‍යුත් තැපෑලේ විෂය ලෙස “පරිවර්තන ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාව – 2026/2027” යනුවෙන් සඳහන් කරන්න.

மொழிபெயர்ப்பு டிப்ளோமா பாடநெறி
(சிங்களம் – தமிழ்) 2026/2027

தேசிய மொழிக்கல்வி மற்றும் பயிற்சி நிறுவனத்தினால் நடத்தப்படும் மொழிபெயர்ப்பு டிப்ளோமா பாடநெறி (சிங்களம்–தமிழ்) 2026/2027 இற்கு விண்ணப்பங்கள் கோரப்படுகின்றன.

பாடநெறிக் காலம்: ஒரு வருடம்.
பாடநெறி முறை: 50% நேரடி மற்றும் 50% இணையவழி.
பாடநெறி நேரம்: வார வேலை நாட்களில் மு.ப. 9.00 முதல் பி.ப. 4.00 வரை.
பாடநெறி ஆரம்பம்: 2026 ஒக்டோபர் மாதம்.
வயது எல்லை: 18 வயதிற்கு மேற்பட்ட மற்றும் 60 வயதிற்குக் குறைந்த இலங்கைப் பிரஜைகள்.
கல்வித் தகைமை: க.பொ.த. சாதாரண தரப் பரீட்சையில் சித்தியடைந்திருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
க.பொ.த. சாதாரண தரப் பரீட்சையில் சிங்களம் அல்லது தமிழ் பாடத்தில் திறமைச் சித்தி பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
பாடநெறிக் கட்டணம்: ரூ. 45,000.00.
பதிவுக் கட்டணம்: ரூ. 1,000.00.
தெரிவுப் பரீட்சைக் கட்டணம்: ரூ. 2,500.00.
விண்ணப்ப முடிவுத் திகதி: 07.09.2026.

விண்ணப்பம் மற்றும் சுயவிபரப் பத்திரத்தை மின்னஞ்சல் மூலம் அனுப்ப வேண்டும். மின்னஞ்சலின் தலைப்பில் “மொழிபெயர்ப்பு டிப்ளோமா பாடநெறி – 2026/2027” எனக் குறிப்பிடவும்.
