The Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) invites applications from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the following permanent posts. Selected officers must be willing to serve in any division of the Commission or at any location in Sri Lanka.

1. Driver (PL 3) - 05 Posts
Educational qualifications
Passed six subjects at the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination, including Sinhala and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
Technical qualifications and experience
- A valid licence issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic to drive all heavy vehicles.
- At least three years of experience obtained after receiving the driving licence.
- General knowledge of motor mechanics, good eyesight and a minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches.
Internal applicants
Employees in Primary Non-Skilled Service Categories who possess the required driving licence and experience may apply.
Age and selection
Above 18 and below 45 years. The maximum age limit does not apply to internal applicants. Selection will be through a structured interview and a professional competency test.
Salary
Rs. 43,280 - 67,040 (applicable from 01.01.2027). Salary payable as at 01.01.2026: Rs. 40,834.
2. Office Assistant (PL 1) - 02 Posts
Educational qualifications
Passed six subjects at the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination, including Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
Age and selection
Not less than 18 and not more than 45 years. Applicants will be selected through a structured interview.
Salary
Rs. 40,500 - 62,530 (applicable from 01.01.2027). Salary payable as at 01.01.2026: Rs. 38,488.
General Conditions
- Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens of excellent character.
- Applicants must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties and serve in any part of Sri Lanka.
- These are permanent posts and are subject to a probationary period.
- Certified copies of relevant certificates and documents must accompany the application.

(සා/පෙළ) විභාගයේදී සිංහල හා ගණිතය ඇතුළුව විෂයන් 6ක් වාර දෙකකට නොවැඩි වාර ගණනකදී සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය. සියලු බර වාහන ධාවනය සඳහා වලංගු රියදුරු බලපත්රයක් සහ එය ලබාගැනීමෙන් පසු අවම වශයෙන් වසර 3ක පළපුරුද්දක් තිබිය යුතුය. මෝටර් යාන්ත්රික කටයුතු පිළිබඳ සාමාන්ය දැනුම, හොඳ පෙනීම සහ අවම උස අඩි 5 අඟල් 2ක් අවශ්ය වේ.
කාර්යාල සහායක (PL 1) - පුරප්පාඩු 02: අ.පො.ස. (සා/පෙළ) විභාගයේදී භාෂාව හා ගණිතය ඇතුළුව විෂයන් 6ක් වාර දෙකකට නොවැඩි වාර ගණනකදී සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය.
වයස: අවුරුදු 18 සිට 45 දක්වා. රියදුරු තනතුර සඳහා උපරිම වයස් සීමාව අභ්යන්තර අයදුම්කරුවන්ට අදාළ නොවේ.

(சா/த) பரீட்சையில் சிங்கள மொழி மற்றும் கணிதம் உட்பட 6 பாடங்களில் இரண்டு அமர்வுகளுக்கு மேற்படாமல் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும். அனைத்து கனரக வாகனங்களையும் செலுத்துவதற்கான செல்லுபடியாகும் சாரதி அனுமதிப்பத்திரமும், அதைப் பெற்ற பின்னர் குறைந்தது 3 வருட அனுபவமும் தேவை. மோட்டார் இயந்திரவியல் பற்றிய பொது அறிவு, நல்ல பார்வைத்திறன் மற்றும் குறைந்தபட்ச உயரம் 5 அடி 2 அங்குலம் அவசியம்.
அலுவலக உதவியாளர் (PL 1) - 02 வெற்றிடங்கள்: க.பொ.த. (சா/த) பரீட்சையில் மொழி மற்றும் கணிதம் உட்பட 6 பாடங்களில் இரண்டு அமர்வுகளுக்கு மேற்படாமல் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
வயது: 18 முதல் 45 வயது வரை. சாரதி பதவிக்கான அதிகபட்ச வயதெல்லை உள்ளக விண்ணப்பதாரர்களுக்குப் பொருந்தாது.
