01. Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – Chemistry

The University of Kelaniya invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for academic posts in the Department of Chemistry.

Available Grades

• Lecturer (Probationary)
• Lecturer (Unconfirmed)
• Senior Lecturer Grade II
• Senior Lecturer Grade I

Basic Qualifications

• For Lecturer (Probationary): A B.Sc. Honours Degree with specialization in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biological Sciences or Chemistry with First or Second Class Honours, or equivalent qualifications.
• For Lecturer (Unconfirmed) and Senior Lecturer grades: A Doctoral or Master’s Degree with a research component specialized in the relevant field is required, as specified in the official advertisement.
• Candidates must make a presentation before the Selection Committee to demonstrate their teaching ability.

Salary Rs. 118,400 – 187,820 per month, depending on the grade, plus Academic Allowance and Cost of Living Allowance.

02. Dental Surgeon – Medical Centre

The University of Kelaniya invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the permanent post of Dental Surgeon attached to the University Medical Centre.

Basic Qualifications

• A Degree in Dental Surgery obtained from a recognized university.
• Full registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council is mandatory.
• At least four years of experience as a Dental Practitioner is required.

Salary Rs. 147,205 per month plus MCA and Cost of Living Allowances.
