01. Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – Chemistry
The University of Kelaniya invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for academic posts in the Department of Chemistry.

- Senior Lecturer Grade II
- Senior Lecturer Grade I
Basic Qualifications
- For Lecturer (Probationary): A B.Sc. Honours Degree with specialization in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biological Sciences or Chemistry with First or Second Class Honours, or equivalent qualifications.
- For Lecturer (Unconfirmed) and Senior Lecturer grades: A Doctoral or Master’s Degree with a research component specialized in the relevant field is required, as specified in the official advertisement.
- Candidates must make a presentation before the Selection Committee to demonstrate their teaching ability.
02. Dental Surgeon – Medical Centre
The University of Kelaniya invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the permanent post of Dental Surgeon attached to the University Medical Centre.
Basic Qualifications
- A Degree in Dental Surgery obtained from a recognized university.
- Full registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council is mandatory.
- At least four years of experience as a Dental Practitioner is required.
