Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for vacancies at the Postgraduate Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo. The available posts are:
01. Management Assistant – Grade III
Educational Qualifications:
- G.C.E. O/L passed in six subjects at one sitting.
- Credit passes are required in Sinhala/Tamil, English/English Literature and Mathematics.
- G.C.E. A/L passed in all subjects at one sitting, excluding the Common General Paper.
- Preference is given to applicants with a recognized computer applications qualification of at least six months and two years' experience using computer application packages.
Age: 18 – 30 years on the closing date.
Salary Scale: Rs. 49,475 – 17 × 540 – Rs. 58,655 per month, plus approved government allowances.
Selection: Written Examination – 75% and Interview – 25%.
02. Works Aide – Grade III
Qualifications:
- G.C.E. O/L passed in six subjects with at least two credit passes.
- The examination may be completed within not more than two sittings.
Age: 18 – 45 years.
Salary Scale: Rs. 42,775 – 16 × 450 – Rs. 49,975 per month, plus approved government allowances.
Selection: Trade Test and/or Structured Interview.
