🎯 Main Responsibilities
The selected Director will serve as the:
- Principal Executive Officer
- Principal Academic Officer
- Accounting Officer of PGIIM
- Ex-officio member of the Board of Management and all Boards of Study
✅ Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD/MS) with Board Certification or an equivalent qualification; or
- A Doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in a Medical or Indigenous Medicine specialty.
- At least five years of administrative experience after obtaining the doctoral qualification.
- The applicant must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- The applicant must be below 63 years of age on the closing date.
- Previous educational and administrative experience will be an advantage.
📑 Documents Required
- A duly completed application form.
- A statement of vision for the development of the Institute.
- A brief account of the applicant’s proposed achievements if appointed.
- Complete Curriculum Vitae with supporting documents, date of birth, contact details and a certified copy of the Birth Certificate.
- Former or incumbent Directors applying for the post must submit a report describing the achievements during their first term.
- Applicants serving in the public sector, corporations, statutory bodies or other higher educational institutions must submit a release letter from the employer.
