✅ Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD/MS) with Board Certification or an equivalent qualification; or
• A Doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in a Medical or Indigenous Medicine specialty.
• At least five years of administrative experience after obtaining the doctoral qualification.
• The applicant must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• The applicant must be below 63 years of age on the closing date.
• Previous educational and administrative experience will be an advantage.

📑 Documents Required

1. A duly completed application form.
2. A statement of vision for the development of the Institute.
3. A brief account of the applicant’s proposed achievements if appointed.
4. Complete Curriculum Vitae with supporting documents, date of birth, contact details and a certified copy of the Birth Certificate.
5. Former or incumbent Directors applying for the post must submit a report describing the achievements during their first term.
6. Applicants serving in the public sector, corporations, statutory bodies or other higher educational institutions must submit a release letter from the employer.
