01. Director (Training)

Salary Scale: Rs. 140,640 – 202,140 + allowances

  • Degree in Engineering / Science relevant to the field or NVQ Level 7
  • Postgraduate degree in relevant field
  • 15 years managerial level experience

02. Assistant Director Posts

Salary Scale: Rs. 91,690 – 168,240 + allowances
Salary Step from 01.01.2025: Rs. 81,710
  • Age: 22 – 45 years
  • Training sectors, HR & Administration, Testing & Evaluation, Research & Development, Finance
  • Relevant degree / NVQ Level 7 / NVQ Level 6 with required experience
  • Finance post accepts Management, Commerce, Finance, Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications

05. Technical Assistant

Salary Scale: Rs. 50,540 – 90,270 + allowances
Salary Step from 01.01.2025: Rs. 46,960
  • Post: Technical Assistant – Construction Unit
  • Age: 18 – 45 years
  • NVQ Level 5 technical qualification relevant to the post
  • One year relevant experience will be an additional qualification

06. Management Assistant

Salary Step from 01.01.2025: Rs. 43,312 + allowances
  • Age: 18 – 45 years
  • Passed G.C.E. O/L in one sitting with 6 subjects
  • Sinhala / Tamil and Mathematics required
  • Credit passes in 4 subjects
  • Passed at least 3 subjects at G.C.E. A/L excluding Common General Test

07. Driver

Salary Step from 01.01.2025: Rs. 40,834 + allowances
  • Age: 18 – 45 years
  • Passed G.C.E. O/L in not more than two sittings with 6 subjects
  • Credit passes in 2 subjects
  • Valid heavy vehicle driving licence
  • Minimum 3 years driving experience after obtaining licence

Driver (Grade III)

1️⃣ Assistant Director - Information and Communication Technology (Grade 111 of Class 1)

Educational Qualifications:

  1. A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Computer Technology obtained from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), or from an institution recognized by the UGC as a degree-awarding institution;

OR

  1. (I) A Degree from a University recognized by the UGC or from an institution recognized by the UGC as a degree-awarding institution with at least one-third (1/3) of the total course content in Computer Science / Information Technology;

    AND

    (II) A Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology from a University recognized by the UGC or from an institution recognized by the UGC as a degree-awarding institution;

OR

  1. (I) A minimum NVQ Level 7 qualification in Information Technology, recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC);

    AND

    (II) At least two (02) years of professional experience in the relevant field.

💰 Salary – Assistant Director (ICT)

Monthly Allowance (inclusive of all allowances) in accordance with P.A.C 10/2025:

Rs.92,238/- (Rs.74,438/- + Rs.17,800/-)

2️⃣ Information and Communication Technology Officer (Grade 11 of Class 2)

Educational Qualifications:

  1. A Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), or from an institution recognized by the UGC as a degree-awarding institution;

OR

  1. (I) A Degree with a major in Computer Science or Information Technology from a University recognized by the UGC or from an institution recognized by the UGC as a degree-awarding institution, with at least one-third (1/3) of the total course content in Computer Science / Information Technology;

    AND

    (II) A Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology from a University recognized by the UGC or from an institution recognized by the UGC as a degree-awarding institution;

OR

  1. (I) A Degree from a University recognized by the UGC or from an institution recognized by the UGC as a degree-awarding institution;

    AND

    (II) A Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a University recognized by the UGC or from an institution recognized by the UGC as a degree-awarding institution;

OR

  1. (I) A minimum NVQ Level 7 qualification in Information Technology, recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC);

    AND

    (II) At least two (02) years of professional experience in the relevant field.

💰 Salary – ICT Officer

Monthly Allowance (inclusive of all allowances) in accordance with P.A.C 10/2025:

Rs.75,430/- (Rs.57,630/- + Rs.17,800/-)

3️⃣ Information and Communication Technology Assistant (Grade 111 of Class 3)

Educational Qualifications:

  • Passed six (06) subjects in one sitting at the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Examination, with at least five (05) credit passes, including Language, Mathematics, and English.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a Computer / Information Technology course at a minimum of NVQ Level 5 or above, recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).

💰 Salary – ICT Assistant

Monthly Allowance (inclusive of all allowances) in accordance with P.A.C 10/2025:

Rs.65,178/- (Rs.47,378/- + Rs.17,800/-)

📋 General Conditions Applicable to All Posts

Age Limit: Applicants should be not less than 30 years and not more than 65 years of age.

Conditions of Employment: Appointments will be made on a contract basis for a period of two (02) years or until the vacancies are filled on a permanent basis, whichever occurs earlier.

Method of Recruitment: Selection of suitable candidates will be made through a structured interview.
