- A Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university or institution;
- A professional qualification in Law from a recognized professional body acceptable to the Faculty Board and the Senate of the University of Colombo, together with a minimum of three years’ experience.
Applicants must also fulfil any other requirements prescribed by the Faculty Board and the Senate.
