📢 Uva Wellassa University Recruitment 2026

Uva Wellassa University, Sri Lanka, has invited applications from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for several non-academic staff positions.

Applications are invited for the following three posts:

• Nursing Officer (Grade II)
• Farm Supervisor (Grade III)
• Management Assistant Grade III (Shroff)

Interested candidates should review the eligibility requirements and submit their applications before the closing date.

01. Nursing Officer (Grade II)

Educational Qualifications

• Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six subjects at not more than two sittings, including credit passes in three subjects.
• Certificate of competence as a Nurse recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council.

02. Farm Supervisor (Grade III)

Educational Qualifications

• Passed six subjects at the G.C.E. O/L Examination at not more than two sittings.
• Credit passes in Sinhala / Tamil / English Language or Literature and Arithmetic / Commercial Arithmetic / Mathematics.

Professional Qualifications

Candidates should possess one of the following:

• Practical Farm School Certificate or equivalent qualification with ten years of experience in a State Organization after obtaining the certificate.
• School of Agriculture Diploma (Peradeniya or Kundasale) or equivalent, with five years of experience after obtaining the diploma.

03. Management Assistant Grade III (Shroff)

Educational Qualifications

• Passed six subjects at the G.C.E. O/L Examination in one sitting.
• Credit passes in Sinhala / Tamil Language, English Language / Literature and Mathematics.
• Passed all subjects at the G.C.E. A/L Examination (excluding Common General Papers) in one sitting, including Accountancy as one subject.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recognized computer qualification of at least six months' duration.
• Two years of experience using computer application packages.

Note: A security deposit must be furnished as determined by the UGC / Higher Educational Institution.

• Complete the application form and attach copies of relevant certificates and a complete curriculum vitae.

• Applicants applying for more than one post must submit separate applications in separate envelopes.
• Clearly indicate the relevant post on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
