01. Chief Marshal

Basic qualifications

Applicants should satisfy one of the following requirements:

• Be a confirmed Deputy Chief Marshal in the Marshal Service of the university system with at least five years of satisfactory service in that grade; or
• Be an officer not below the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Sri Lanka Armed Forces, or an equivalent rank in the Sri Lanka Police, with active participation in sports activities.

Physical requirements

• Height: 5 feet 5 inches
• Chest: 32 inches deflated
• Suitable physique

Preference will be given to applicants who have actively participated in sports, social welfare activities and recreation programmes at university and national levels.

Selection method: Structured interview

Applicants obtaining 40% or above at the structured interview will be eligible to be considered for selection.

Salary scale: U-EX 2 (II) – Rs.113,690–8×2,400–8×2,940–156,410 per month (as at 01.01.2025).

02. Assistant Network Manager Grade II

Relevant fields

Applicants should possess qualifications and applicable experience relating to:

• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Computing
• Computer Technology
• Computer Networking

Degree holders with a first or second class may qualify under the conditions stated in the official advertisement. Applicants with a general degree may be required to possess one to three years of relevant Computing or Networking experience, depending on their qualifications.

Other degree holders may qualify with a recognized postgraduate diploma in Computer Science or Computer Technology and the required relevant experience.

Fifteen years of experience as a Computer Programmer in the university service is also recognized under the specified recruitment category.

Selection method: Aptitude test and structured interview

Salary scale: U-AS 2 (II) – Rs.85,305–3×2,400–92,505 (EB) 94,905–14×2,400–128,505 per month (as at 01.01.2025).

03. Project Manager

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A recognized B.Sc. Engineering degree specializing in Civil Engineering; or
• A recognized B.Sc. Engineering degree specializing in Quantity Surveying; or
• Equivalent professional qualifications.

Applicants should also possess:

• Corporate membership of a recognized Engineering Institute or a recognized Institute of Quantity Surveying; and
• At least ten years of relevant experience in construction projects, contract handling and direct management.

Applicants obtaining 40% or above at the structured interview will be eligible to be considered for selection.

Salary scale: U-EX 1 (II) – Rs.85,305–3×2,020–91,365 (EB) 93,765–12×2,400–122,565 per month (as at 01.01.2025).
