📢 Vacancy Announcement
The Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Sri Lankan citizens for three positions under the Support to Colombo Urban Regeneration Project (SCURP).
The project is supported by financing from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and focuses on urban housing development and regeneration in Colombo and its suburbs.

🎓 Required Qualifications
Applicants must satisfy one of the relevant qualification and experience pathways specified in the official notice.
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree or NVQ Level 7 with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- NVQ Level 6 with the experience specified in the official notice.
- NVQ Level 5 with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree or NVQ Level 7 with at least 2 years of experience.
- NVQ Level 6 with at least 5 years of experience.
- NVQ Level 5 with at least 8 years of experience.
- G.C.E. O/L: Six subjects, including five credit passes with Language, Mathematics and English at one sitting.
- Computer / ICT qualification at NVQ Level 5 or above, as specified in the notice.
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- English and Sinhala typing skills.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Computer Operator.
Additional Advantage: Project-related experience and data entry or office work experience.
📋 General Requirements
- Applicants must be citizens of Sri Lanka.
- English proficiency, computer literacy and familiarity with government rules and regulations are required.
- Qualifications and experience must meet the official criteria by the closing date.
- Experience in foreign-funded or regional development projects will be an advantage.
📑 Appointment Details
Appointments will be made on a contract basis for one year, with possible extension during the project period based on satisfactory performance.
Remuneration and conditions are governed by Management Services Circular No. 02/2026 and applicable amendments.
