“A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka”

27–31 July 2026

About the Circular

The Presidential Secretariat has issued Circular No. PS/CSL/Circular/8/2026, dated 14 July 2026, on implementing the national programme “A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka” for an honest public service.

The programme aims to strengthen integrity, transparency, accountability, efficiency and public confidence in government service. National Integrity Week will be observed by public institutions from 27 to 31 July 2026.

Instructions to Public Institutions

Plan and conduct suitable activities throughout National Integrity Week.
Establish or strengthen an Integrity Committee in each institution.
Coordinate implementation through the relevant Internal Affairs Unit (IAU).
Display the official Clean Sri Lanka values/banner and create staff and public awareness.
Conduct the national opening programme at institutional level on 27 July 2026 at 9.00 a.m., as instructed in the circular.

Important: Heads of institutions and responsible officers should read the complete official circular and annexures before arranging activities.

ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාලය විසින් PS/CSL/Circular/8/2026 චක්‍රලේඛය නිකුත් කර ඇත. “සුපිළිපන් සංස්කෘතියක් – ක්ලීන් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවක්” ජාතික වැඩසටහන යටතේ 2026 ජූලි 27 සිට 31 දක්වා ජාතික සුපිළිපන් සතිය රාජ්‍ය ආයතනවල ක්‍රියාත්මක කළ යුතුය. අවංකභාවය, විනිවිදභාවය, වගවීම, කාර්යක්ෂමතාව සහ ජනතා විශ්වාසය වර්ධනය කිරීම මෙහි අරමුණයි. සෑම ආයතනයක්ම අදාළ ක්‍රියාකාරකම් සැලසුම් කර සුපිළිපන් කමිටුව හා අභ්‍යන්තර කටයුතු ඒකකය මගින් වැඩසටහන සම්බන්ධීකරණය කළ යුතුය.

Applications are invited for EMT, Pilot and Emergency Medical Dispatcher positions.

1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation operates Sri Lanka’s pioneering emergency and pre-hospital care ambulance service under the Ministry of Health and Mass Media.

The foundation carries out its life-saving mission through 322 ambulances operating islandwide.

The Board of Management invites applications from suitably qualified, energetic and dynamic individuals for the following positions.

Available Vacancies

1. Emergency Medical Technician – EMT

Open to male and female applicants.
Applicants must be below 35 years of age.
Three passes at the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination in any stream, preferably in the Bio Science stream.
Applicants with NVQ Level 4 in a health-related field may also apply.
Minimum “S” pass in English at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination.
Basic Information Technology knowledge.
Additional language proficiency will be an advantage.
Previous experience in Emergency Medical Services will be an added advantage.
Minimum height for males: 5 feet 4 inches.
Minimum height for females: 5 feet 2 inches.
Body Mass Index must be between 18.5 and 27.

Training and Service Requirement:
Selected candidates must complete a diploma course conducted by the 1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation in collaboration with a university. Candidates must serve the foundation for at least three years after completing the course.

All applicants must successfully pass a physical fitness test.

2. Pilot – Ambulance Driver

Applicants must be below 35 years of age.
G.C.E. Ordinary Level with passes in six subjects.
A valid heavy vehicle driving licence.
Minimum two years of work experience in a reputed organization.
Good communication skills in Sinhala or Tamil.
English language knowledge will be an added advantage.
Minimum height: 5 feet 2 inches.
Body Mass Index must be between 18.5 and 27.
Visual acuity must be between 20/20 and 20/30.

All applicants must successfully pass an aptitude test.

3. Emergency Medical Dispatcher – EMD

Applicants must be below 35 years of age.
Three passes at the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination in any stream.
Good communication skills in Sinhala and Tamil.
English language proficiency and Information Technology literacy will be added advantages.

All applicants must successfully pass an aptitude test.

The National Transport Commission has published the interim bus fare revision effective from 06 July 2026. Passengers can view and download fare-stage, route-wise and service-category fare lists below.
