📌 Examination Purpose
The Department of Official Languages is calling applications for the Official Languages Proficiency Oral Examination. This examination is conducted to assess oral communication skills in Sinhala and Tamil as second languages.
✅ Eligibility
- Only officers who have passed Sinhala or Tamil as a Second Language at G.C.E. O/L are eligible.
- The application form must be completed in English.
- Teachers and Principals can apply according to their relevant level.

The examination fee should be credited to the following account:

When making the payment, mention:

After payment, enter the computer-generated receipt number and payment date in the application.
🪪 Identity Verification
- National Identity Card (NIC)
- Passport
- Driving License
Any one of the above documents must be produced for identification.
📄 Important Instructions
- Oral examinations are conducted twice each year.
- Admission card signature must be certified by the Head of Institution.
- Bank receipt must be presented during the assessment.
- Examination fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Results will be published on the Department of Official Languages website.
