Projects can receive funding up to LKR 6 Million.

Agrahara Insurance Scheme – Key Amendments (2026)

Minimum monthly contribution increased to Rs. 200
Silver Scheme monthly contribution increased to Rs. 450
Gold Scheme monthly contribution increased to Rs. 750

New Requirement – Agrahara Database

All public officers must register in the Agrahara Database
Registration becomes mandatory from 01 April 2026
Information must be updated whenever officer details change

Insurance Benefit Provisions

Standard health insurance and personal accident exclusions will apply
Exclusions determined by the National Insurance Trust Fund
When both husband and wife are public officers, claims should be submitted by the officer receiving benefits
Only one parent can claim Agrahara benefits for a child at a time

Age Limit Changes

Maximum age for receiving natural death insurance benefit – 70 years
Other insurance benefits may be claimed for lifetime

Claim Submission Guidelines

Medical bills must be submitted within 90 days
Registered post applications valid if posted within 90 days
Death claim files must be submitted within 6 months
Head of Institution must ensure claims are submitted within the deadline

📘 Programme Overview

Applications are called for admission to Grade 12 under the Advanced Level Vocational Stream for the academic year 2026/2027. Students may apply to schools that offer the Vocational Stream. The student's pass or fail status at the G.C.E. O/L examination is not considered for admission to this stream.

✅ After completing Grade 12, students can continue an NVQ Level 4 course in Grade 13.
