The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Graduate Translator Grade II (Sinhala/English). Applications must be submitted on the prescribed form and sent by registered post with the required supporting documents.

Qualifications
- A degree from a recognized university with Sinhala or Tamil as a subject; and
- A credit pass in English Language or English Literature at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination, or having passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level or a higher examination in the English medium.
Salary and Benefits
Salary scale: U MN 3(II) – Rs. 71,365 – 18 × Rs. 1,190 – Rs. 92,785 per month.
The advertisement states that this scale becomes fully operative from 01.01.2027. Salary placement for 2026 will be made according to University Grants Commission Circular No. 02/2025 (i) dated 04.04.2025. Any other allowances applicable to the post may also be paid.
Permanent appointees contribute to the Universities Provident Fund. The advertisement also refers to contributions relating to the Employees’ Trust Fund and University Pension Scheme, subject to the applicable conditions.

ශ්රී ලංකා විවෘත විශ්වවිද්යාලයේ උපාධිධාරී පරිවර්තක II ශ්රේණිය (සිංහල/ඉංග්රීසි) තනතුර සඳහා සුදුසුකම්ලත් අයගෙන් අයදුම්පත් කැඳවනු ලැබේ.
- පිළිගත් විශ්වවිද්යාලයකින් සිංහල හෝ දෙමළ විෂයක් සහිත උපාධියක් තිබිය යුතුය.
- අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්ය පෙළ ඉංග්රීසි භාෂාව හෝ සාහිත්යය සඳහා සම්මාන සාමාර්ථයක්, නැතහොත් ඉංග්රීසි මාධ්යයෙන් අ.පො.ස. උසස් පෙළ හෝ ඊට ඉහළ විභාගයක් සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය.
- වයස අවුරුදු 45 නොඉක්මවිය යුතුය.
- නියමිත අයදුම්පත සහ සහතික කළ ලේඛන ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑලෙන් යොමු කළ යුතුය.

- அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட பல்கலைக்கழகப் பட்டத்தில் சிங்களம் அல்லது தமிழ் ஒரு பாடமாக இருந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
- க.பொ.த. சாதாரண தரத்தில் ஆங்கில மொழி அல்லது இலக்கியத்தில் திறமைச் சித்தி பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்; அல்லது க.பொ.த. உயர்தரம் அல்லது அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட பரீட்சையை ஆங்கில மொழிமூலத்தில் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
- வயது 45 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேற்படக்கூடாது.
- நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட விண்ணப்பம் மற்றும் சான்றுறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்ட ஆவணங்களை பதிவுத் தபாலில் அனுப்ப வேண்டும்.
