Interview calling letter

Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the Limited Competitive Examination to recruit officers to 24 vacancies in Grade III of the Sri Lanka Planning Service on limited basis.

Salary Scale

According to Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025 dated 25.03.2025, the monthly salary scale applicable to this post is:

Rs. 82,150 – 10 x 2,400 – 8 x 2,940 – 17 x 3,900 – 195,970/-
(SL 1 – 2025)

In addition to the salary, officers are entitled to government allowances approved from time to time.

Educational Qualifications

Degree from a State University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
OR Degree from a Foreign University recognized by the UGC
OR Degree recognized under Section 25A of the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978

Experience Requirements

Applicants must be confirmed in service before the Gazette closing date
Must possess the required degree qualification on or before Gazette publication date
Minimum 05 years active and satisfactory service in Public Service or Provincial Public Service
Must draw salary under Salary Code MN-1-2025 or higher MN Salary Code OR SL-1-2025

Sri Lanka Planning Service Grade III Stage II Interview List 2024 official notice for general interview qualified candidates

The Common Competitive Examination for Recruitment to the Posts in All-Island Services and Executive Service Category of the Public Service 2021 (2024) – Recruitment to Grade III of Sri Lanka Planning Service (Open) – Stage II interview list has been officially released.

According to the announcement, the list of candidates who have qualified for the General Interview (Stage II) has been published as Annex I, based on the results of the written examinations conducted by the Commissioner General of Examinations on 29.07.2023 and 25.05.2024.

📌 Important Notice for Qualified Candidates

Candidates whose names appear in Annex I will be called for a General Interview to verify their qualifications.
Being called for the interview does not guarantee appointment to the Sri Lanka Planning Service.
All shortlisted applicants must submit the required details through the official Google Form link.
The deadline to submit the required particulars is 06.03.2026.
