Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the Limited Competitive Examination to recruit officers to 24 vacancies in Grade III of the Sri Lanka Planning Service on limited basis.

Salary Scale
According to Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025 dated 25.03.2025, the monthly salary scale applicable to this post is:
Rs. 82,150 – 10 x 2,400 – 8 x 2,940 – 17 x 3,900 – 195,970/-
(SL 1 – 2025)

In addition to the salary, officers are entitled to government allowances approved from time to time.
Educational Qualifications
- Degree from a State University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
- OR Degree from a Foreign University recognized by the UGC
- OR Degree recognized under Section 25A of the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978
Experience Requirements
- Applicants must be confirmed in service before the Gazette closing date
- Must possess the required degree qualification on or before Gazette publication date
- Minimum 05 years active and satisfactory service in Public Service or Provincial Public Service
- Must draw salary under Salary Code MN-1-2025 or higher MN Salary Code OR SL-1-2025
