The University of Moratuwa invites applications for the Master of Business Analytics (MBAn) – 2027 Intake. The programme develops the statistical, computing, analytical and management capabilities needed to solve complex business problems and make data-driven decisions.

  • Analytics Practicum / Research Project

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should satisfy one of the following:

  • An Honours Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Business, University of Moratuwa; or
  • Another four-year degree in Business, STEM or a closely related field from a recognized university, subject to Senate approval; or
  • A three-year degree in Business, STEM or a closely related field from a recognized university, with at least one year of appropriate post-qualifying experience, subject to Senate approval; or
  • A recognized professional qualification equivalent to a three-year degree obtained through an academic route / SLQF Level 5, with at least one year of appropriate post-qualifying experience, subject to Senate approval.

  • Application processing fee: Rs. 2,000
  • Total payable at enrolment: Rs. 457,500
  • The course fee may be paid in full or in two instalments of Rs. 225,000.
  • Educational loan facilities are available through the Bank of Ceylon, UoM Branch, subject to terms and conditions.
Payment notice: Online bank transfers and payments at Bank of Ceylon branches are accepted. ATM/CDM payments are not accepted. Read the official instructions carefully before paying.

1. Nursing Officer - Grade II

Required Qualifications

  • G.C.E. O/L: Passes in six subjects, including credit passes in three subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • A Certificate of Competence as a Nurse recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council.

Required Qualification

Required Qualifications

    • NVQ Level 5 or above in Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics, Multimedia or Audio Visual Techniques from a recognized institution; or
    • A relevant diploma at SLQF Levels 3 and 4 or NVQ Levels 5 and 6 offered by a university under the UGC; or
    • An equivalent qualification accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, together with one year of Audio Visual work experience in a reputed organization.

Required Qualifications

  • A relevant skill-oriented formal training programme of at least one year full-time duration, or an equivalent qualification. Acceptance of the programme will be determined by the relevant faculty.

5. Management Assistant - Grade III

Required Qualifications

  • G.C.E. O/L: Passes in six subjects in one sitting, with credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil, English/English Literature and Mathematics.
  • G.C.E. A/L: Passes in all subjects, excluding the Common General Paper, in one sitting. Under the old syllabus, passes in three subjects in one sitting are sufficient.
  • Preference will be given for a recognized computer applications qualification of at least six months and two years of experience using computer application packages.
