Introduction
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for vacancies at the University of Colombo Institute for Agro-Technology and Rural Sciences, Weligatta, Hambantota.
Available Posts
01. Temporary Assistant Lecturer – English
A special/general degree in English / Teaching English as a Second Language / Linguistics in English medium with or without honours.
Preference: Work experience in IT will be an added advantage.
Salary Code: U-AC 2
Salary: Rs. 85,305 per month fixed plus approved allowances.
Selection: By interview.
02. Management Assistant Grade III – Store-Keeping
- Passed G.C.E. O/L in six subjects at one sitting.
- Credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil Language, English Language/English Literature and Mathematics.
- Passed all subjects at G.C.E. A/L at one sitting, except Common General Paper.
- Computer application qualification of not less than six months from a recognized institute.
- Two years’ experience in computer application packages.
- One year experience in store-keeping or commerce/accountancy background.
Age: Not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years on closing date.
Salary Scale: U-MN 1 (III) – Rs. 49,475 – 58,655 p.m.
Selection: Written examination and interview.
