Qualifications – External Candidates

Option 01 – Degree, Postgraduate Qualification and Experience

A Bachelor's Degree recognized by the University Grants Commission in one of the following areas or another field relevant to the post:

Human Resource Management
Business Administration
Public Administration
Commerce
Economics
International Relations and Strategic Studies
Another relevant field

AND

A recognized postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area, or corporate membership of a recognized professional chartered institution relevant to the post.

AND

At least 18 years of managerial-level experience, including at least 5 years at Senior Managerial Level, after obtaining the first degree.

Option 02 – Degree, PhD and Senior Managerial Experience

A UGC-recognized Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject area.

AND

A PhD in Business Management, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, Commerce, Economics, International Relations and Strategic Studies or another relevant field.

AND

At least 5 years of experience at Senior Managerial Level with a proven management track record, obtained after completing the PhD.

Qualifications – Internal Candidates

A minimum of five years of satisfactory service in a post in the Senior Manager HM category in a subject area relevant to the position.
Proven ability to lead and direct multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in the proper deployment and efficient management of human and other resources.

The upper age limit of 55 years does not apply to internal candidates.
