Required Qualifications

01. Proofreader – Grade III (English)

Required Qualifications

A Diploma in English from a recognized institution with three years of experience as a Proofreader.

Relevant NVQ Level 05 or above with three years of experience as a Proofreader.

Passed the GCE Advanced Level Examination with five years of experience as a Proofreader.

Additional Requirements

Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation and writing style.
Strong proofreading and editing skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Experience in desktop proofreading will be considered an added qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Proofread advertising content to ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency before publication.
Coordinate with the Supervisor and DTP Supervisor to resolve content and formatting issues.
Ensure that all content complies with media ethics, company guidelines and the Code of Conduct while meeting deadlines.

02. Head of Information Technology

Required Academic and Professional Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Networking or a related field, with at least three years of relevant experience in a managerial position.

Professional membership of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka with six years of relevant experience in a managerial position.

A relevant NVQ Level 07 qualification with eight years of relevant experience in a managerial position.

Technical and Management Requirements

In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, Cisco technologies and emerging technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy in line with its business objectives.
Lead, mentor and manage the information technology team.
Oversee networks, servers, data storage and other IT infrastructure.
Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
Manage the IT budget, resources and technology investments.
Manage relationships with technology vendors and external service providers.
Plan and manage digitalization and process automation initiatives.
