Admission Requirements

• Possess the OUSL Diploma in English Language & Literature (application required), or
• Possess a Diploma in Teaching English (ESL) of 2 years’ duration from a National College of Education (NCOE), or
• Possess any other recognized 2-year Teacher Training Qualification in Teaching English as a Second Language, acceptable to the OUSL Senate, or
• Possess passes in three (03) subjects including English Literature at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination or an equivalent qualification.

Important Note on Selection Test

All applicants, except those who qualify under category (1) above, are required to pass a selection test conducted by the Department of Language Studies.
