The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has approved a new electricity tariff revision effective from 01 April 2026. These updated rates apply to all consumer categories including domestic, industrial, government, and EV charging. The new electricity tariff approved for a 30-day billing cycle will apply from 01 April 2026.

EVCS-2 applies to EV charging stations metered at or above 400/230 V, with contract demand exceeding 42 kVA.
A 2.5% SSCL levy is applied to monthly electricity bills effective from October 1, 2022.
