01. Inspection Officer
Grade B-2 | Permanent Basis
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- NDT, HNDE, NDES or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institution relevant to the particular discipline.
- Applicants under this qualification route must possess four years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field, including supervisory experience.
- The experience should have been obtained in the government, semi-government sector or a reputed private organisation.
- Alternatively, applicants may possess NVQ Level 5 from a TEVC-approved institution with five years of relevant experience.
- Applicants must pass a Trade Test.
- Applicants should not be more than 35 years of age as at the closing date.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out inspection and testing activities, including PT, UT and MT, with knowledge of RT operations and related safety procedures.
- Conduct visual inspections and ultrasonic thickness measurements on tanks and pipelines.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and submit findings to the relevant engineer.
- Supervise quality assurance and quality control activities according to applicable standards.
- Prepare inspection documents accurately and obtain all required Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality permits and approvals.
- Allocate and supervise work assigned to subordinate employees while maintaining quality and efficiency.
02. Draughtsman
Grade B-2 | Permanent Basis
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- NDT, HNDE, NDES or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institution relevant to the particular discipline.
- Four years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field, including supervisory experience.
- The experience should have been obtained in the government, semi-government sector or a reputed private organisation.
- Alternatively, applicants may possess NVQ Level 5 from a TEVC-approved institution with five years of relevant experience.
- Applicants must pass a Trade Test.
- Applicants should not be more than 35 years of age as at the closing date.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, revise and maintain engineering drawings, plans, layouts and as-built drawings using Computer-Aided Design software.
- Assist engineers in preparing technical drawings and documentation for construction, maintenance and rehabilitation projects.
- Conduct site visits and take field measurements to prepare and verify engineering drawings.
- Maintain drawing records, revision control systems and engineering document management systems.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to include approved design revisions.
- Preference will be given to candidates with drafting experience related to industrial facilities, petroleum, oil and gas, infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
03. Trainee Tank Farm Operator
Grade B-3 | Permanent Basis
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- NDT, HNDE or NDES qualification appropriate to the respective position.
- Alternatively, applicants may possess an appropriate NVQ Level 5 or NVQ Level 6 qualification.
- Applicants must pass a written or practical Trade Test.
- Applicants should not be more than 35 years of age as at the closing date.
- Selected candidates will be promoted to Grade B-2 after successfully completing the two-year training period.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow institutional and consignment procedures and arrange pipelines and storage tanks correctly.
- Supervise employees during fuel receipt, storage and handling operations.
- Obtain tank measurements and fuel samples according to ASTM standards and verify their accuracy.
- Ensure that fuel meets the required specifications before it is issued.
- Handle aviation fuel and other specialised fuels according to JIG standards and recommendations.
- Identify and rectify defects in pipelines, pumps and tanks.
- Reconcile quantities during fuel transfers and ensure accurate operational records.
- Maintain safety standards, comply with fire regulations and record relevant operational information in SAP.
04. Trainee Assistant Foreman – Auto Mechanic
Grade B-3 | Permanent Basis
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- NVQ Level 5 obtained from a TEVC-approved institution appropriate to the position.
- Three years of relevant post-qualification experience in a government, semi-government or reputed private organisation.
- Applicants must pass a Trade Test.
- Applicants should not be more than 35 years of age as at the closing date.
- Selected candidates will be promoted to Grade B-2 after successfully completing the two-year training period.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Service, diagnose and carry out complete repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles.
- Conduct road tests before and after vehicle repairs.
- Prepare repair assessment reports for routine maintenance and accident-damaged vehicles.
- Plan and procure vehicle spare parts and interpret technical manuals and manufacturers' service instructions in English.
- Possess computer literacy and knowledge of SAP-ERP systems.
- Investigate fuel-tanker-related fraudulent practices and prepare reports for the relevant authorities.
- Possess sound knowledge of fuel tanker components, workshop administration and workforce supervision.
- Demonstrate team leadership and a strong commitment to occupational health and safety standards.
- Possess a valid driving licence, including authorisation to drive heavy vehicles.

- CPSTL will contribute 15% of the employee's salary to the Employees' Provident Fund.
- The employee must contribute 10% of the salary to the Employees' Provident Fund.
- CPSTL will contribute 3% of the salary to the Employees' Trust Fund.
- Selected candidates will be placed on probation for three years from the date of assuming duties.
