The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has released the annual transfer details of officers attached to the Sri Lanka Principals’ Service from provincial schools to national schools for the year 2026.

பாடசாலை ஆராய்ச்சி மதிப்பீடு மற்றும் அறிவுறுத்தல் கையேடு

📘 School Research Assessment Programme 2026

The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has issued Circular No. 30/2026 regarding the implementation of the annual School Research Assessment Programme.

The programme aims to establish a culture of evidence-based decision-making and research within the school education system. It provides opportunities for students, teachers and education professionals to participate in research-related activities.

The programme covers school students from Grades 1 to 13, teachers, teacher advisers and education administration professionals.

🎯 Main Target Groups and Activities

Grades 1–5

Section: Primary

Activity: Student Observation Diary

Assessment: School level

Deadline: 15 October 2026

Grades 6–9

Section: Junior Secondary

Activity: Student Reflection Journal

Assessment: School level

Deadline: 15 October 2026

Grades 10–13

Section: Senior Secondary

Activity: Student Research

Teachers and Teacher Advisers

Teachers and teacher advisers should conduct action research related to the teaching and learning process.

Education administrators, teacher educators and officers of the Sri Lanka Principals’ Service may conduct research on a debated or important issue in the education sector.

🏫 Implementation Through School Research Clubs

Schools are advised to implement these activities through the School Research Student Clubs established according to Circular No. 38/2023 dated 31 December 2023.

📝 Submission of Research Articles

Research articles prepared by teachers and education professionals should reach the address specified in the official guidelines on or before 15 December 2026.

Please read the official circular and guidelines carefully before preparing or submitting research work.

📕 සිංහල සාරාංශය

අධ්‍යාපන, උසස් අධ්‍යාපන සහ වෘත්තීය අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශය විසින් පාසල් පර්යේෂණ ඇගයීම් වැඩසටහන සම්බන්ධයෙන් අංක 30/2026 දරන චක්‍රලේඛය නිකුත් කර ඇත.

පාසල් පද්ධතිය තුළ සාක්ෂ්‍ය පදනම් කරගත් තීරණ ගැනීමේ සහ පර්යේෂණ සංස්කෘතියක් ඇති කිරීම මෙම වැඩසටහනේ ප්‍රධාන අරමුණ වේ.

🔹 1–5 ශ්‍රේණි: සිසු නිරීක්ෂණ දිනපොත – 2026 ඔක්තෝබර් 15

🔹 6–9 ශ්‍රේණි: සිසු ප්‍රත්‍යවේක්ෂණ ජර්නලය – 2026 ඔක්තෝබර් 15

🔹 10–13 ශ්‍රේණි: සිසු පර්යේෂණ – පාසල්, කලාප, පළාත් සහ ජාතික මට්ටමින් ඇගයීම සිදු කෙරේ.

🔹 ගුරුවරුන් සහ ගුරු උපදේශකවරුන්: ඉගෙනුම්-ඉගැන්වීම් ක්‍රියාවලියට අදාළ ක්‍රියාමූලික පර්යේෂණයක්.

📅 ගුරුභවතුන් හා අධ්‍යාපන වෘත්තිකයින්ගේ පර්යේෂණ ලිපි ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමේ අවසන් දිනය: 2026 දෙසැම්බර් 15

பாடசாலைக் கல்வி முறைமையில் ஆதாரங்களை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட தீர்மானமெடுக்கும் கலாசாரத்தையும் ஆராய்ச்சிக் கலாசாரத்தையும் உருவாக்குவது இத்திட்டத்தின் பிரதான நோக்கமாகும்.
