It appears that the Ministry of Public Administration website may have been hacked or is currently experiencing a security-related issue.
A government website is currently displaying an unauthorized page containing messages from an individual/group claiming to be a “Grey Hat Security Researcher.” This may indicate that the website has been compromised, defaced, or is experiencing a serious cybersecurity incident.
The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has issued a special notice regarding the Limited Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Principals’ Service – 2025. Applicants who completed the online application and paid the examination fee before the deadline, but failed to send the certified printed copy to the Department of Examinations, are given another opportunity to submit their applications before 15 May 2026.
According to the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, applicants who completed the online application for the Sri Lanka Principals’ Service Grade III Limited Competitive Examination – 2025 within the prescribed period, but failed to send the certified printed copy to the Department of Examinations before the closing date, and therefore did not receive admission cards, are given another opportunity to submit their applications.
The Commissioner General of Examinations will announce the examination date and the release of admission cards in the future.

The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has announced the Spot Registration process for the Bachelor of Science General/Hons Degree Programme for the 2026/2027 academic year. Students interested in Biological and Physical Sciences can complete their registration from 11th to 16th May 2026 at the nearest OUSL Regional Centre. Limited registration dates are available, so applicants are advised to complete the process early.
