• மதகுருமார்களுக்கான அடையாள அட்டை (ஆட்பதிவூ திணைக்களத்தினால் வழங்கப்பட்டது)

இவற்றில் ஒன்றையேனும் கொண்டிராதவர்கள் 09.11.2019 இற்கு முதல் தமது பிரிவில் உள்ள கிராம சேவகரினை அணுகி, தேர்தலுக்காக தற்காலிக அடையாள அட்டை ஒன்றை பெற்றுக் கொள்ளலாம்.

CALLING APPLICATIONS FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF PRESIDENT’S COUNSEL 

APPLICATIONS are called for the appointment of President’s Counsel in terms of the Article 33(2)(e) of the Constitution. 

The Attorneys-at-Law who have reached eminence in the legal profession and maintained high standards of conduct and professional rectitude are eligible to apply for the above appointment. Accordingly, the Attorneys-at-Law who satisfy the eligibility criteria specified in the guidelines published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 2147/37 dated 29.10.2019 

should send the duly completed applications on the from given below under registered cover to “Secretary to the President, Presidential Secretariat, Colombo 01” on or before 07.11.2019. The legend “Appointment of President’s Counsel” should be clearly written on the top left corner of the envelope containing the applications Any applications received after the said date will not be entertained and the Presidential Secretariat will not be held responsible for any misplaced or delayed applications.

Redefining Senior Secondary and Collegiate Curricula for Tomorrow's World : Kannangara Memorial Lecture 2019

The national education system of a country is guided by its national curriculum. It sets the framework for school work by defining the values and objectives for all schools so that the children who leave the  school  system are able to lead  successful lives as citizens. Therefore, the prime concern of the national curriculum should be to  integrate the  development  of  the individual  so that the students can effectively contribute culturally, socially, politically and economically after they leave school. The  system  of  education  in  Sri  Lanka  provides  13  years  of schooling in four cycles: Primary cycle, Junior Secondary cycle, Senior Secondary cycle, and Collegiate cycle.
