General eligibility requirements: 

Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.

Should be below 21 years of age on 25. 10. 2019

Should have passed the G.C.E (A/L) examination conducted by the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka with subjects relevant to the field applicant intends to apply. 

Should possess a good knowledge in English.

Should not be a student registered or following a course at a university, selected by the UGC based on the G.C.E.A/L examination results. 

Medium of instructions: Serbian Language 

Field of Study: Any field other than Medical and Dental Sciences

Closing Date: Applications will be accepted only up to 25.10.2019.

7. Uhana MV  Ampara
8. Henegama MMV - Gampaha will be upgraded to national schools.

The country has about 370 national schools.

RECOMMENDATION of the Committee appointed on the basis of the number 8/1/3w' u' m' of Cabinet papers approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Uva Provincial Council to consider the proposal made by the Principal’s & School Development Societies to revise the names of the Tamil Medium Schools (without Muslim Schools) under the Uva Provincial Council, the Cabinet Memorandum No. 68/2019 declaring that the names of these Schools should therefore be mentioned in Column three.
