The amendment for Grade 6 students' admission under the circular no. 2008/37 related to the admission of students from Grade 2 to Grade 11 The guidance of this circular will void the circular no.2008137(1) dated 2008.10.30 issued for grade 6 admission criteria and this amendment should be implemented with the circular of 2008137 dated 2008.09.19 regarding the admission of students from grade 2 to grade I l.

01. Past Pupils 7.5%
02. Brother / Sister category 5%
03. The children of the staff, who work in an institution directly related to education within the zone. 2.5%

b. Students must qualify for the cut-off marks in the district where they sat for the scholarship examination if they are applying for a school which has school cut off.

Establishment of the Pool of Resource Persons for Examination Duties

Establishment of the Pool of Resource Persons for Examination Duties of the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka

A Pool of Resource Persons will be established from Sri Lankan citizens with a view to obtain support for examination duties of the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka and this includes all the duties with regard to Other examinations, except School examinations. Resource Persons will be recruited to the pool for the following duties.

Duty of the resource person

Setting and moderation of question papers
Translating question papers (Sinhala/ Tamil/ English/ Other)
Evaluating answer scripts
Evaluation and testing services that need expertise

HND courses @ SLIATE

HND Courses for GCE AL Qualified students who passed in 2017 or before

HOW TO APPLY

Filled application forms should be sent to the relevant Advanced Technological Institute under registered cover with the bank receipt obtained by crediting Rs.500/= to the SLIATE account No. 025-2-001-1-3397613 at Peoples’ Bank, Hyde Park Branch Colombo 02 or any other branch of the Peoples’ Bank in Sri Lanka.
The course applied for should be clearly stated at the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
Candidates who wish to apply for more than one institute should submit separate applications to each institute, while attaching separate receipt worth Rs 500/- in the space provided in the applications
Part-Time courses are conducted for those who are employed or self-employed in the relevant fields.
