Saturn has overtaken Jupiter as the solar system's planet with the most moons aftre scientists discovered 20 more orbiting the ringed planet.

Saturns total moons are 82 and jupiters 79.

Circular : Receiving gifts from parents and students are prohibited for Teachers and Principals

Circular regarding the gifts to the teachers from Parents and Students was released on 18.11.2016

Education ministry has published a circular in 2016 regarding the gifts provided to teachers by parents and students. Please read Below circular. Its available in Sinhala.

Providing Gifts for Teachers, Principals and Granting Permission for any group to collect money for theses process should be stopped. Getting Gifts from parents individualy is a fault belongs to disciplinary action.

Principals and Teachers should take proper action to prohibit these type of activities in schools.

மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் பெற்றோரிடம் இருந்து ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வெகுமதி வழங்கள் தொடர்பாக

வருட இறுதி மற்றும் ஆசிரியர் தினம் போன்றவற்றின் போது ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வெகுமதிகள் வழங்க என வகுப்பு ரீதியாக பணம் சேகரிக்கப் படுவது தொடர்பாக கல்வி அமைச்சுக்கு அறியப்படுத்தப் பட்டுள்ளது.

இது தொடர்பாக இதற்கு முன்னால் அறிவுறுத்தல்கள் வழங்கப்பட்ட போதும் கூட சில குழுக்களால் பெற்றோரிடம் இருந்து பணம் அறவிடப்பட்டு வெகுமதிகள் வழங்கப்படுவதும், ஆசிரியர்கள் பெற்றுக் கொள்வதும் தொடர்ந்து நடைபெற்ற வண்ணம் உள்ளன.

இவ்வாறான சந்தர்ப்பங்களின் போது பொருளாதார ரீதியில் பின் தங்கிய பெற்றோர்கள் அசௌகரியங்களுக்கு உள்ளாவதுடன், அவர்களின் பிள்ளைகளும் மன உளைச்சலுக்கு உள்ளாகின்றனர். இதனை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு அதிபர், ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வெகுமதிகள் வழங்கள், பணம் சேகரித்தல் தொடர்பாக எவருக்கும் அனுமதி வழங்காதிருப்பதுடன் பெற்றோர்களிடம் இருந்து ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வெகுமதிகள் வழங்கள் ஒழுக்காற்று நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டிய தவறு ஆகும்.

இவ்வாறான நடவடிக்கைகளை தடுப்பது அதிபர் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்களின் பொறுப்பாகும்.

இவ்வாறான செயற்பாடுகளுக்கு தாபன விதிகோவை மற்றும் இலஞ்ச மோசடி சட்டத்தின் கீழ் தண்டனை பெறக் கூடிய குற்றமாகும். இதனைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு செயற்படவும்.

Registration Resumed : Official Language Exam for Public Servants

Official language Exam for Government Servants (Written & Oral)

Two types of exams. Consist written and Oral. If a person who has qualified second language in G.C.E.O/L should not need to sit for written exam. They can apply for oral exam directly. Each government servant should qualified the level he / she belongs to.

Gazette Application Would not be called, Apply for this exam is the duty of public officer and he/she should apply him/her self

Written Exam

The exam will take place twice a year. Applications received till January 31 should face the Exam in March. Applications received till July 31st should sit the exam in September each year.
Exam Fee 500
Application should be submitted only via online and results will be published on website only.
