• Be a citizen of a developing country other than the People’s Republic of China

• Under the age of 45 (born after September 1, 1980) when applying the scholarship

• Be in sound physical and mental health, and not having any disease listed below:
• Diseases prohibited by Chinese Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Laws and Regulations 
• Severe chronic diseases like blood pressure, cardio-cerebrovasculardisease, diabetes; psychological diseases; or other infectious diseases which may harm public health 
• In recovery period after major surgery or acute disease attacks
• Severe physically disabled 
• Pregnancy 

• With at least 3 years’ working experience

• Be a bachelor’s degree holder when applying for master’s program; be a master’s degree holder when applying for doctoral program

• Be sufficient in English (IETS 6.0 or TOEFL 80 and above level) which meets the academic requirements of the program

• Be public officials of director level and above in government sectors, or senior management staff of organizations, or academic backbones of universities and research institutions

• Be incumbents with a relevant educational background or working experience to the applied program are preferred.

• Managing schedules and appointments, coordinating meetings and events, Handling phone calls, e-mails, and correspondence, invitations,
• Arranging travel and accommodations,
• Drafting official documents and letters
• Assisting the Embassy officials in protocol and diplomatic matters
• Assisting any other matter required for Ambassador and Embassy officials

• Age between 30-45
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree
• High English proficiency (written and communication skills). Fluency in Sinhala is essential (Tamil language skill would be an advantage).

1. Applicants must have sat for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination-2024.
2. They must submit their results to the Law College within one week of the release of the G.C.E. Advanced Level-2024 results.
3. Failure to submit the results or not meeting the minimum Advanced Level qualifications will result in the cancellation of the examination candidature.
4. Payments made for the Law College Entrance Examination will not be refunded for any reason and no such requests should be made.
5. The reference number provided after submitting the affidavit (see below) should be entered under 07(1) in the online application. The Law Entrance Examination application should not be submitted online before submitting the affidavit.

• Complete curriculum vitae including the date of birth of the applicant. The applicant should be a citizen of Sri Lanka and shall be less than 63 years of age by the closing date of the application.

•  A statement of vision for the development of the University and a brief account of what the applicant proposes to achieve if appointed to the post of Vice-Chancellor.

• Where the incumbent Vice Chancellor is an applicant or had held the post of Vice Chancellor of the University before, he/she shall give a report highlighting accomplishments during his/her first period of the office, in addition to the documents mentioned in section (i) and (ii) above

• A letter from the employer, including whether the applicant could be released in the event of his /her appointment to the post in the case of an applicant serving in public service, corporation, statutory bodies, or higher educational institutions in the case of external applicants.

• Playing Background: Representation at Premier, National or Provincial Level.
