GCE O/L Unit Data Collection Form for Teachers

Education Ministry has developed a website for collecting data from teachers who teach grade 11 students.

Teachers must fill with correct data via this portal.

They can update the units covered via normal class and Online class separately. This form should be completed within one week period Time

Data Should Be submitted from 23 Nov 2020 to 29 Nov 200

Schools Reopen on 23rd of November 2020 : Education Ministry

Education Ministry has released an Official Letter regarding the Reopening of Schools on 23rd of Nov 2020. Education Minister says schools are reopen on 23 rd of Nov 2020 for Grade 6 - 13 Classes. Principals should plan to conduct the school, discussing with PHI, Grama Niladhari, SDC, OBA.

The plan should be submitted to relevant Zonal Education Office.

Collecting Information on GCE O/L Exam 2020

Survey conduct by the Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka regarding the G.C.E. O/L Examination due to be held in January 2021

The purpose of this form is to collect data about units (on subjects and mediums relevant to the G.C.E. O/L examination) covered at the schools as teaching activities may not have been able to carry out as normal due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Fill this form from Nov 23 to Nov 29, 2020

Note : teachers enter your NIC No (without V or X) and click search and Details will be generated Automatically. If Not Please contact via email grade11@moe.gov.lk to sort out the problem

1. Enter Your NIC No and Click Search

2. Then Select Subject, Medium and parallel Classes Amount.

3. Click Generate to fill the amount of completed units

(Total Units given, You can select the unit covered by each parallel class via online and off line)

if you want to select another subject, Click + mark (read 4th instruction here)

And Click Save (You can not edit after click save. Fill it Carefully)

4.if you teach more than one subject , Click + mark to add Another Subject

English Smart Class

The process of setting up English Smart Classrooms using modern technology to enhance English proficiency in schools is being coordinated and implemented by the Ministry of Education under the right to read project.

This English Smart Classroom will operate through web software that incorporates lessons designed to fit the typography of the syllabus from Grade 3 to Grade 8.

So far, 510,745 students from 837 schools across the country have been connected to the system. The project is being implemented in the Northern, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Central Provinces.
